Rhythm Races is a rhythmic game to get students audiating and reading rhythm patterns. Divide your class into two teams. One player from each team comes up the interactive white board. Display the page with 2 rhythms on it and read one. The first person to touch the rhythm wins the point!
- Level 1 includes quarter and eighth note combinations
- Level 2 includes quarter and eighth note combinations and quarter rest
- Level 3 includes quarter, eighth, sixteenth note combinations and quarter rest
- Level 4 includes quarter, eighth, eighth-sixteenth note combinations and quarter rest
